The sequel to the 2019 film "Joker" is titled "Joker: Folie à Deux." The phrase "folie à deux" is French for "madness of two," referring to a shared psychosis or delusion between two individuals.

In this film, Joaquin Phoenix reprises his role as Arthur Fleck/Joker, and Lady Gaga portrays Harley Quinn. The story follows Arthur Fleck, now an inmate at Arkham State Hospital, who develops a romantic relationship with fellow inmate Harley Quinn.

Directed by Todd Phillips, "Joker: Folie à Deux" was released on October 4, 2024.
